A Little About Al Marjan Island - Ras Al Khaimah

Al Marjan Island is located in south-west RAK and is an offshore island tourist development costing AED 6.6bn or US$ 1.8bn. The development will be close to the Al Hamra Fort hotel and Al Hamra Village, roughly 27km or 17 miles from the city centre. Al Marjan Islands will be 5 man-made islands, coral-shaped and extending some 2km or 1.24 miles into the waters of the Arabian Gulf. There will be 10 large hotels, 50 large villa sites, a marina with a village, and a water theme park. There will be floating villas, sporting facilities, resorts, luxury hotels and commercial areas. The project, which is due for completion in the middle of this year, will be home to a number of landmark developments, including La Hoya Bay, Pacific and Bab Al Badr.
