Two men took a base jump from the top of the new Burj Khalifa tower a day after it opened earlier this month. They fell at speeds of 136 mph (220 km/h) from the staggering 828m (2716ft) high skyscraper – the highest base jump in the world from the tallest building in the world. The two courageous world-record breakers are Nasr Al Niyadi and Omar Al Hegelan from the Emirates Aviation Society who were granted permission to take the astonishing leap which took them just one and a half minutes to reach the ground!
