Construction Begins On Saadiyat Park Hyatt Resort

The National reported today that work has begun on the Park Hyatt resort - A luxury 5-star resort on Abu Dahbi's Saadiyat Island.
The Saadiyat Park Hyatt is expected to open for business in the beginning of 2011 in the Saadiyat Beach district of the island which will be home to eight other hotels and resorts.
The Park Hyatt resort will have 316 rooms, suites and villas and a host of restaurants.
Saadiyat Island, which means 'island of happiness' in Arabic, is a flagship development of the Tourism Development and Investment Company which has already won an award for being "The World's leading Tourism Development Project".
The island will have seven districts in total including 'Cultural District' which will house the Louvre and Guggenheim musems.
The demand for quality rooms in Abu Dhabi continues to rise as the hospitality industry continues strong growth - defying the global economic crisis.
