Dubai Marina - Most Popular Property Hotspot

As at Q4 2009 Dubai Marina is still the favourite property hotspot for people looking to rent or buy. A recent study has revealed that the plush marina accounted for 16.2% of searches by online buyers and 18.2% of rental enquiries in the latter months of last year. Following the marina in the popularity stakes are Jumeirah Lake Towers which was the focus of 14.3% of searches, Palm Jumeirah recorded 11.8% and Jumeirah Beach Residence 8.4%. The Springs were the 5th most popular, up from 7th position in Q3. The report's figures are based on around 400,000 internet searches throughout Q4. For rental purposes, Jumeirah Lake saw 10.6% searches – the second most popular – followed by Palm Jumeirah and Discovery Gardens. The more affordable areas achieve much more rental interest. The data showed that the top 6 annual rental price ranges all came under AED100,000 pa. The report recorded not too much fluctuation in the price ranges, a good sign of some stability presenting itself.
