Last Marina Residences Tower Now Handed Over

The final Marina Residences tower at Palm Jumeirah has now been handed over to the project’s developer Nakheel by contractors. The first stage of the handover of the Marina Residences properties began in the latter part of last year. This, the last of the handover stages, is the completion of the 6th tower at Marina Residences, constructed by the Shimizu Corporation – Japanese Construction Company. The handover will welcome over 2,000 new residents. The project comprises 6 residential towers housing both apartments and penthouses.

Nakheel say that there are some 12,000 residents residing at the famous man-made Palm Jumeirah which will take a further 5/6 years to finish. Dubai Land Department’s February 2010 figures showed that this area of Dubai is the 5th most popular hotspot according to property sales.
