Ocean Breeze consists of two phases: 1) Ocean Breeze Apartments & Villas, completing in approx 6 months and 2) Ocean Breeze – Sun Gate, contracted for completion end of 2011. This project is almost sold out, but we do have a few studio and one bedroom units in Ocean Breeze – Sun Gate and a few two bedroom units in Ocean Breeze Apartments. We have approx 14 semi-detached villas as well. The whole site is approx 85% sold. Phases 3 & 4 of Sun Gate will form the Sun Gate Hotel and will be branded as a 5 star resort.
Hurghada
* Good access with direct flights from the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, the Former Soviet States and the Middle East. On average the airport is currently dealing with 120,000-130,000 arrivals per week.·
* The airport is currently undergoing expansion work to allow a second runway and an extra 7.5 million arrivals per year at a cost of 300 Million US$.·
* Tourism Increasing year on year, estimated at a conservative 6% per year until 2016. 2008 figures saw 13.4% increase in arrivals at Hurghada International Airport. Amidst the financial slowdown Egypt though it would suffer badly and even and throughout the first half of 2009 the figures were down quite a bit on the previous year. Demand increased significantly during the second half 2009 and overall figures ended up almost the same as the year before (-0.02%). This was very positive news for the tourism growth of Egypt as it fared better than other countries which saw huge falls in tourism. Going into 2010, the first quarter occupancy rates are significantly higher than the previous year.· * You can purchase freehold in Hurghada rather than 99 year lease in Sharm-El-Sheik.·
* Hurghada is surprisingly up to date with technology. WIFI internet access is available almost everywhere. Most restaurants, eateries, coffee shops all have free WIFI internet access for example.·
* Large international brands here such as MacDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee, Hardees, Hard Rock Café, Little Buddha, Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound.·
* Hurghada is an already established market, over 200 hotels in the city, many large brands already here such as Hilton, Intercontinental, Marriot, Sheraton and MANY more.
