'Tiger Woods Dubai' Project Proceeds - News

Dubai Properties Group has confirmed that the Tiger Woods project will be completed as intended. The golf course and luxury residential development, which was due to be completed in September 09, was delayed as a result of the real estate difficulties in the emirate. Chief Executive Officer of the company, Khalid Al Malik, said that a new completion date has not been established yet but the project continues. Work has reached the 8th hole of the golf course, designed by the champion golfer himself. The whole project, named the ‘Tiger Woods Dubai’, will cover 55 million square feet and include 287 luxury villas and mansions, a boutique hotel and a clubhouse. Al Malik said that part of the project has been sold already, and the remaining part will go on the market upon completion.
