Property Industry Debate At Cityscape Abu Dhabi

Cityscape Abu Dhabi will take place from the 18th to the 21st of April in the National Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi (featured in photo). The event will bring together over 120 speakers from more than 25 countries for the purpose of debating issues within the property investment industry both in the UAE and elsewhere. Cityscape Group Director, Chris Speller, said this week “given the dramatic changes that have impacted the global markets over the past year or more, we are planning a frank debate without restriction, presenting real estate professionals with a transparent platform to explore the real issues and challenges confronting the real estate investment industry” (Khaleej Times, 09/03/10). The conference will invite industry professionals to discuss important current topics, to include; the effects of the financial climate on the property market, how the GCC countries have dealt with the downturn and the viability of property investment trusts in the Middle East.
