Work on The World Islands Progresses, Says Nakheel

Nakheel has announced this week that work will start on a number of The World Islands in the coming months. The progress starts as Major Trade – European developer – has commenced work on soil testing and reclamation on the ‘Greenland’ island, in preparation for the vibro-compaction work to be started this February. The island will be housing a modern residential villa development and a luxury boutique hotel. The giant master-developer’s group MD said that The World Islands remains a highly appealing project, and the firm has a solid and long-term business plan in situ. Major Trade MD Viktor Herceg, said they are very pleased to have started work on the island, and predict there to be a strong demand for their properties once completed.
